Our Sailing Travel Blog
We recognize that any story has many different angles and interpretations to it. I have always found it interesting and a bit amazing that two people can experience the same event but take away a completely different experience.
At times you will read about similar experiences on this sailing travel blog but by a different author and you will enjoy a different point of view. That was purposefully done and we hope that it makes for a more enjoyable reading experience.
Our Sailing Travel Blog Will Have Three Points of View
Our little family has three people in it. My name is Conrad Cooper and with many thanks to my dad, I have been around boats and sailing as far back as I can remember. I always knew that someday I would jump aboard a sailboat and explore the islands. Around the age of 40 I decided that someday would never come as long as I didn’t set a date. So that is what we did.
My wife, Roxanne Cooper, and I met at a marina. She was the harbor master and I was living on my rickety 30′ sailboat. Though she was born and raised as a country girl I must admit that I think she enjoys the boating lifestyle more than I do. It didn’t take much convincing to get her to quit her job and pack her stuff.
Then we have our teenage daughter Logan. She is also a country girl and would like to remain that way. She is a semi-reluctant participant in this adventure and I personally look forward to her posts on our travel blog.
